iShadow Desktop

iShadow Desktop gives you the possibility of monitoring and controlling remote computers. The program is capable of maintaining around 50 simultaneous sessions and it provides support for RDP, ICA, as well as VNC protocols. The software has many more features to offer. The best part is that it is very easy to use.

Installing and running iShadow Desktop is not as easy as you would expect. Besides downloading its setup file, you will also need to download a license file. The setup wizard will take you through the usual procedure, but you will also find an option for providing the aforementioned license file.

The program comes with a modular user interface. The hosts you connect to are displayed on separate windows, within the main user interface. The first window you will find is the one where you can organize your connection profiles, in folders and sub-folders, in a tree structure.

There are several ways of defining a new connection. Besides choosing a protocol, you also need to target the remote computer on your network, which can be done by typing its name or by selecting in a tree structure. Alternatively, you can bring up a tabbed window, on which you can make many more configurations. Choosing a resolution and colors for the remote desktop, enabling or disabling sounds are just a few examples.
